Change London creates major projects that harness advanced technologies, partnerships, and communities to make London a healthier, more liveable and economically productive city. This video outlines a project called AirSensa.
AirSensa, currently piloting in London, will monitor and visualise air quality right down to individual street level, sharing real-time health information with everyone, and enabling specific solutions to be targeted accurately and efficiently.
The AirSensa network will initially consist of up to 10,000 air quality sensors across the whole of greater London, all privately sponsored by donors and businesses large and small. We're already rolling out sensors on schools, business premises and other key locations.
This video gives an overview of the project so far and some insight into the issue and some of the people involved with the project.
